Week three Devotional

(february 3 - 9)

Reading: Psalms 46

Key Verse: Psalms 46:10a - “Be still, and know that I am God…”

Application:

Are there areas of your life that you haven’t entrusted to God? Have you inadvertently closed portions of your life off from Him?

SILENT MODE STEPS:

1. IDENTIFY

Take time for stillness to reflect on areas of your life that need God’s presence, be reassured that He is near.

2. EXPERIMENT

Noise of everyday life can often make us feel distant from God and cloud our understanding of His power. Try to take moments in each day to actively remind yourself that God is ever-present with you and great in power.

3. LISTEN

Dwell on a few verses from Psalms 46 each day, consider the message of God’s love, power, and presence in this Psalm and how this message is the same for you today as it was for the Psalmists who wrote it.

4. PRAY

Personal: Pray against any fear that may be lurking in your life, ask God to be your refuge and strength.
Bethesda: Ask God to unite us all together as we seek his will for our church.
