The Christian life is about growing in our relationship with God and with others. Peter, one of Jesus’ closest disciples, once said, “Grow in grace and understanding of our Master and Savour, Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18, MSG). There are many ways to grow spiritually, but the greatest growth happens in community. To grow deeper...
Become a Regular Attender
You belong here and when you are not here, you are missed. If you want to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ, a key part is passionate and consistent engagement. When you develop the habit of attending regularly, you begin to grow as you engage in worship, in hearing the Word of God, in prayer, and in fellowship with other followers of Christ.
Attend Engage Bethesda
Taking the next step to attending regularly, is attending Engage Bethesda. In the spring and in the fall, we host an event called Engage Bethesda. The purpose of this event is to highlight the various ministries that Bethesda has, as well as reveal ways to connect deeper such as finding a place to serve, finding a small group to join, or taking the next step by becoming a member of Bethesda.
Take a Membership Class
From time to time, we host a Membership Class for those interested in becoming members of Bethesda. If you are interested in taking in the next membership class, email our Connections Pastor at email@example.com. In the meantime, for more info, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org
and request a membership packet. Included the packet is a membership application as well as a copy of Bethesda’s local church constitution.
Join a Small Group
Bethesda has approximately 25 active Small Groups that meet in a variety of locations. These gatherings provide an opportunity for genuine community to be experienced as we engage one another, grow together in discipleship, and impact our city in ways we could not do alone. The topic of study and time of each group’s meeting will vary. We invite you to get connected today at bethesda.ca/small-groups.
