OFFERAMA month

May 2025

Offerama is a Province-Wide initiative, in the month of May, of generosity for special projects connected to sharing the love of Christ and supporting the needs of various societies and people groups.

We hope you take time to view the designations for 2025 and consider how you might support them.

Bethesda has set a church goal of $10,000 that will aid in supporting the provincial goal of $350,000. To give, please note ‘Offerama’ on your contribution.

The content below has been provided by PAONL to promote Offerama.

Missions Offerama is an annual fundraising initiative of the PAONL. Since its inception 2+ decades ago, our Pentecostal family has sacrificially given over $9 million to reach people in more than 40 countries on 5 continents. This is about 10% of our overall Missions Program during that period.

Our missional focus must remain strong. Our reach must be global, provincial, and local. In a world where trouble is present and truth is absent, the gospel must be preached and practiced. We must be willing to pray, give, send, and even go as God calls us. Out of a global population of 8 billion people, more than 3 billion are still unreached without having yet heard the gospel of Christ.

In 2024, it received a 5-star rating from Charity Intelligence Canada as one of Canada’s most reputable top 100 charities.

According to a recent report, in 2023, ERDO was focused on the Global Hunger Crisis; in 2024, its efforts were concentrated in regions affected by Wars, Unrest, and Conflict. During that time ERDO implemented a total of 110 projects and programs in 44 countries, walking alongside and assisting over 300,000 program participants. ERDO enables people to build a much better life and future.

We are privilege to partner with ERDO in reaching the least reached and most vulnerable!

Global Missions

Goal: $100,000

Global Worker Vehicles ($50,000.00): Vehicles are essential for Global Workers. As with most of us, vehicles are not only needed for family reasons, but are also essential for ministry purposes. In many overseas contexts, vehicles can be costly to purchase, maintain, and replace. The PAONL is responsible to ensure the mobility of our Global Workers is safe, reliable, and functional. Thanks to your generosity we have been able to equip several Global Worker families with vehicles over the past several years.

Business As Mission/RAN ($25,000.00): BAM is creating many new opportunities in Global Missions. The PAONL/PAOC believes that business is a God-given vocation that provides multiple benefits to people and communities. BAM involves entrepreneurial Global Workers catalyzing and utilizing their unique skill sets for kingdom purposes. We were pleased to sponsor a recent Business for Transformation (B4T) Incubator Project in Latin America/Caribbean. BAM is often the

Capital Library Project ($25,000.00): The PAOC/ PAONL have partnered with the Fellowship of Gospel Assemblies of Thailand (FGAT) for many years. One area of our historical relationship involves the Pentecostal Bible College in Bangkok where many students have been equipped to serve in ministry. We are pleased to sponsor the construction of a capital project in collaboration with the PAOC and FGAT for a new library and the creation of a larger meeting space that will help to better equip their students.

Home Missions

Goal: $150,000

Church Planting Initiatives ($75,000.00): The PAONL has a vision for Church Planting. We believe God is calling us to plant new churches in urban and rural areas. The Avalon Peninsula has the lowest number of Pentecostal churches per capita and there are regions in the province with no evangelical presence. Our vision, prayers, and giving will help us to plant where God is leading.

New Strategic Initiatives ($25,000.00): The PAONL has partnered with local assemblies in recent years to launch strategic initiatives. A strategic initiative involves ministries that go beyond the four walls of an assembly to reach the community in different ways. We are praying and believing for God to give fresh visions to Pastors and Church Boards toward creative and innovative ministry.

Local Outreach Projects ($25,000.00): The PAONL budgets for Local Outreach Projects annually. Home Missions/Supplemented Assembly pastors are encouraged to plan activities that will have a positive impact on their communities. Outreach funds may be available upon the presentation of a ministry outreach proposal. Our giving will strengthen the hands of our pastors and people.

New Canadians Initiatives ($25,000.00): Canada has created space to welcome newcomers from other countries. In recent years thousands of people have found a new home in our wonderful province. In response PAONL Assemblies are reaching out to newcomers within our communities. Supports may be made available to churches needing start-up funds for these kinds of initiatives.
