At Bethesda, we’re seeking the hope, joy, peace, and love of Christmas together. And we would love for you to join us!

We welcome you to join us in-person or online Sundays at 9 or 11 AM (NST) as we reflect on the Advent season together.

You are also invited to celebrate this holiday season with us in a variety of ways, there are events and memories to be made for all ages.

Wow Christmas Breakfast, November 15 AT 8:30 am

Women of Worth Ministries are excitedly anticipating another festive breakfast and gathering with the women of our community. The first of 2 Saturdays will take place on November 15th at the Holiday Inn.

OCC shoebox collection DEADLINE, november 16 at 9 & 11 AM

The collection deadline for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes is Sunday, November 16th! Please bring your filled shoeboxes back during the 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM worship gathering.

WORSHIP & PRAYER GATHERING

Join us on Novemb er 18th at 7 PM for a powerful night of worship and prayer! Together, we’ll seek God’s presence, be refreshed, and grow in faith and expectation for the season ahead.

CITYKIDS NIGHT OUT CHRISTMAS, november 20 at 6:30 PM

Elementary Kids (Kindergarten - Gr. 6) are invited to CityKids Night Out on November 20th from 6:30-7:45 PM. There will be games, music, snacks, a Bible Story, and of course - lots of Christmas cheer! Registration coming soon.

jingle jam: Family experience, November 30 at 4:00 pm

Your whole family is invited to experience Christmas together, where you’ll sing songs, play exciting games, laugh until your sides hurt, and hear the Christmas story told in a way that engages every age. We truly cannot wait to experience Jingle Jam with you! Click below to sign up!

City Tots Christmas Party, December 3 at 10:00 AM

Our bi-weekly community playgroup for children 0-5 years are celebrating Christmas with crafts, singing, snacks, and freeplay! Our Bethesda Kids Team would love to see you and your tots there! Learn more about City Tots. The registration link will be made available soon.

Christmas supper bowl at Cornerstone, DECEMBER 6 at 5 PM

Our volunteers will head downtown to provide a hot meal of Turkey Dinner to our friends at Cornerstone Ministry Centre. For more information on how you can get involved, visit our For St. John’s Christmas Initiatives page.

PEACE: 2nd week of advent, December 7 at 9 & 11 am

This is the 2nd week of advent and we are lighting the advent candle of Peace. We would love to see you at 9 or 11 AM. Bethesda Online is also available live every Sunday at 11 AM (NST) here.

Lytehouse Youth Christmas banquet, December 12 at 5:30 PM

They call it Christmas Prom at LYM. Students look forward to this event year after year. Dress up and enjoy a festive meal, followed by some games and activities. Tickets will be available soon!

Singing Christmas Tree, december 13 & 14

Join us the weekend of December 13th (6 PM) and 14th (11 AM & 6 PM) for our Singing Christmas Tree! Join us for one of 3 presentations, and invite along a friend, coworker, or family member.

It promises to be a powerful evening of music, children’s choir, advent celebrations, and more. We are also celebrating the 3rd week of advent (theme: Joy).

LOVE: 4TH WEEK OF ADVENT, DECEMBER 21 AT 9 & 11 AM

Christmas Eve Service, DECEMBER 24 AT 6 PM

One of the time honoured traditions of Christmas at Bethesda is the annual Christmas Eve Service! And you are invited to join us! We will also be lighting the final advent candle during this special gathering.
