For St. John’s Christmas
The needs in our neighbourhoods and community are often times intensified during this time of year as we approach the Christmas season.
We know that there are organizations in our city who are doing amazing work to support, encourage, and inspire those who are struggling in this season.
It has been our mission to partner with others in order to help our community.
This Christmas we have several specific partnerships that we are committed to supporting. We hope you join us and are blessed by the opportunity to help others.
For more information on a project and how to support that project, contact Pastor Justin.
OUR 2025 OPPORTUNITIES:
family Sponsorships
We are once again providing aid for children and parents this Christmas through partnerships with organizations like The Single Parent Association and Angel Tree Christmas (families of prisoners through the delivery of a Christmas gift on behalf of the incarcerated parent).
Additionally, we will be supporting numerous families who are part of our Bethesda community that are looking for some extra care during this season. Your generosity helps to provide these families with what they are in need of this Christmas.
Are you interested in sponsoring a family? Contact Pastor Justin.
Christmas Supperbowl
On December 6th we will be preparing to serve a Christmas Dinner through the Supper Bowl Ministry in downtown St. John’s. If you would like to contribute financially, donate food items or are able to serve, please contact Pastor Justin for details.

Mercy House
Mercy House is our housing space for 52 guests, which provides both 'Transitional Housing' and 'Supportive Housing' solutions.
There are 20 guests in 'transitional housing', who engage in life-skills development and programming for 6-18 months. This is a full-time, temporary solution to help individuals gain the necessary skills, find the right supports, navigate mental health and to eventually find their own permanent home.
In 'Supportive Housing', there are 32 guests who need wrap-around supports, on a more permanent capacity. They can permanently stay full-time in a dorm-like environment where they have their own private space, but can avail of the daily supports of The Gathering Place.
If you would like to sponsor a guest this Christmas, you can make a donation of $75 per guest to make this Christmas a little brighter. Deadline for donations is Dec 7th.
