No Condemnation

Wouldn’t it be something if we could take all of the sin and the shame and failure from our past and we could get it so clean that no one would ever know that it was once so dirty unless you told them…all the failures, regrets that you swept underneath the floor mat. All the stains of sin that hang over your life, if all of it could be wiped clean.

What happens when you start to do the very thing you hate?

Guilt: (In its healthy form) causes you to push away your sin and draw close to God. Shame: Causes you to push God away and convince yourself there is no hope for you.

You are not defined by what you did wrong, you are defined by what Jesus Christ did right.

GOD’S FORGIVENESS IS IMMEDIATE Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is NOW no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

GOD’S FORGIVENESS IS COMPLETE Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ did not die on the cross, he did not endure public shame and humiliation, He did not have his body beaten so that you can carry one sin on you for the rest of your life…HIS FORGIVENEES IS COMPLETE. In fact God’s forgiveness is greater than your greatest sin.

GOD’S FORGIVENESS IS CONDITIONAL Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now NO condemnation for THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS Imputed means – you didn’t earn it nor deserve it. It was credited to your account.

PRAY – God I believe in your Son Jesus Christ, I believe he died to pay the penalty for my sin and I receive Jesus into my heart right now through faith.
